Whether it was hot rodding, drag racing, or sports car racing, California has played a critical role in the development of the automotive sports, design and culture, from the outset through today. And that in turn shaped California's culture. Preserving and presenting this reciprocal relationship is the goal of the museum.
The museum features a number of racecars, race posters, programs, photos, and video and audio recordings. They also have an extensive collection of exotic and rare cars on display.
They host a number of special events featuring certain race teams, tracks, drivers, and marques. Their Legends of Riverside film festival is also a treat.
