The American Military Museum has been collecting, preserving, restoring, and sharing the largest inter-service collection of military equipment in the Western United States for over 57 years.

The museum has over 178 vehicles on display organized by tanks, artillery and self-propelled guns; armored vehicles and personnel carriers; cars, trucks, jeeps, motorcycles, other vehicles and misc equipment; and naval and ordnance.

Tours are self-guided tours. An informational booklet is available so you can walk around with to view the exhibits. Though there are no tour-guides, questions are always accepted and in fact encouraged. They offer booklets in English, Spanish Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.

In addition to historic education, the museum has also worked with the county of Los Angeles to give workplace experience in auto painting and body since 1978. Over 280 boys and girls from ages 14-21 have gone through our summer program.

Contact the museum for its latest information.
